Sheryle Bolton is a serial entrepreneur and business leader. She was previously Chairman and
CEO of Scientific Learning Corporation (NASDAQ: SCIL), a neuroscience technology company.
Scientific Learning’s award-winning Fast ForWord® software, based on scientific research on
how the brain learns, has now been successfully used by over a million people all over the
world. Sheryle was also President and COO of Physicians’ Online, which was acquired by
WebMD.
She received a BA in English and an MA in Linguistics from the University of Georgia and an MBA
from Harvard Business School. Sheryle’s Harvard Business School classmates honored her in
2005 with a “Making a Difference” award for her work in using brain research in learning
software as CEO of Scientific Learning. In 2000, she was one of 11 women who received the
first Springboard Enterprises Award for taking their companies public. She has been featured in
numerous publications and has had two Stanford Business School cases written about her
career.
Sheryle serves on the board of vibrantBrains™, the first-ever storefront ‘brain gym’ and
neighborhood resource center located in San Francisco. She also writes a blog on brain health

Margaret Sabin is CEO of Sutter Health Partners and Vice President of New Product Development
for Sutter Health, a premier not-for-profit network of 28 hospitals with affiliated clinics and
physician organizations, based primarily in Northern California. Ms. Sabin is a pioneer in the field
of employee health management and led the formation and growth of Sutter Health Partners
since it’s inception in 2001.
Sutter Health Partners delivers proven and personalized lifestyle management and wellness
coaching programs that improve health status, performance, and productivity. By partnering
with employers, employees and health systems, Sutter Health Partners combines one-on-one
coaching with interactive online health tools to positively impact behavior change through focus
on nutrition, exercise and stress management.
Until March 2005, Margaret was CEO of Marin General Hospital and Novato Community Hospital,
affiliates of Sutter Health. She has also served as CEO of the Steamboat Springs Health Care
Association and Swedish Medical Center, both in Colorado. In addition, she has been VP for EMS
and Trauma for HealthONE Corporation, one of the largest healthcare systems in Colorado.
Named as one of the Bay Area’s 100 Most Influential Women in Business by the San Francisco
Business Times for two consecutive years, Margaret has lectured extensively on the subject of
managed care and has authored and co-authored several chapters in publications of the
American Hospital Association and the American College of Emergency Physicians. She has also
served as an adjunct professor for the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center graduate
program in health services administration.
Margaret earned her BS in Biology from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, and her MHSA from
George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer and
recreational runner. Margaret is passionate about healthy living and personal accountability that
empowers health. She currently resides in San Anselmo with her husband and four children.
Nancy L. Snyderman, M.D., F.A.C. S, is on staff at the Department of Otolaryngology, University
of Pennsylvania, and has received numerous research grants from the American Cancer Society
and the Kellogg Foundation. Already known to millions of viewers worldwide as the chief
medical editor for NBC News, she appears regularly on the Today show, Nightly News with
Brian Williams, and other programs.
