The Invent Your Future Conference for Women is the premier educational event for
businesswomen in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. This year's conference featured
keynote speakers Cokie Roberts, Bertice Berry, and Rachel Maddow, best-selling
authors, thought leaders and business experts who offered informative seminars,
tools, and techniques to accelerate career advancement.
2009 attendees included professional women in corporations, government, non-profit
organizations and entrepreneurs seeking professional development, products,
services and solutions to take their careers and businesses to the next level.
Different tracks target both established and emerging women leaders, technical
women in high tech and biotech, entrepreneurs, and high school/college young
women. Companies who sent women included Robert Half, Microsoft, Symantec, SAP
Labs, Genentech, Northrop Grumman, Hewlett-Packard, and New York Life. Also in
attendance were established entrepreneurs and consultants from a variety of
industries.
