For 30 years, The Association of California Nurse Leaders has been living its vision of positioning nurse leaders to influence the future of health care.

Citizen Schools
Citizen Schools is a national nonprofit organization that partners with middle schools to expand the learning day for low income children across the country. Citizen Schools uniquely mobilizes thousands of adult volunteers to help improve student achievement by teaching skill-building Apprenticeships after school. The organization’s programs blend these real-world learning projects with rigorous academic and leadership development activities, preparing students in the middle grades for success in high school, college, the workforce, and civic life.

NAWBO California
NAWBO California is part of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a nationwide women’s business organization with 80 chapters throughout the United States and an affiliation with Les Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales (World Association of Women Entrepreneurs) in 33 countries. NAWBO-CA was created as the “senate” of all nine (9) chapters, whose volunteer board members convene quarterly to share knowledge, build business relationships and form lasting partnerships with corporations and governmental entities. Each chapter within California consists of dynamic women business owners forging alliances and breaking boundaries to build better businesses by: linking growing businesses with the global economy; sharing resources, skills and experience; and providing a single voice to shape economic and public policy. The nine chapters in California are located in the major metropolitan areas throughout the state: Desert Cities, Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Ventura County.

NAWBO Indianapolis
NAWBO Indianapolis is part of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a nationwide women’s business organization with 80 chapters throughout the United States and an affiliation with Les Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales (World Association of Women Entrepreneurs) in 33 countries.

NAWBO Silicon Valley
NAWBO Silicon Valley is one of nine California chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a nationwide women’s business organization with 80 chapters throughout the United States and an affiliation with Les Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales (World Association of Women Entrepreneurs) in 33 countries.

NCWIT
The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is a non-profit coalition of 250 prominent corporations, academic institutions, government agencies, and non-profits working to increase women’s participation in IT and computing. NCWIT helps organizations recruit, retain, and advance women from K-12 and higher education through industry and entrepreneurial careers; provides statistics, research, and best practices; and serves as a national voice of awareness and advocacy for the increased participation of girls and women in IT and computing.

WestEd
WestEd, a national nonpartisan, nonprofit research, development, and service agency, works with education and other communities to promote excellence, achieve equity, and improve learning for children, youth, and adults. WestEd has 17 offices nationwide, from Washington and Boston to Arizona and California. Its corporate headquarters are in San Francisco.

Women Impacting Public Policy
Women Impacting Public Policy is a national nonpartisan group with over half-a-million members. WIPP is the collective voice in Washington, D.C., for over 50 national women and small business organizations. WIPP advocates for and on behalf of women in business in the legislative process of our nation, creating economic opportunities for members and building alliances with other small business organizations..
