WOMEN TO ‘MAKE IT HAPPEN’ AT OCTOBER CONFERENCE
SAN CARLOS, Calif., August 23, 2007 – Invent Your Future Enterprises, a professional development company

Founder and President Denise Brosseau will headline interactive workshops on intrapraneurship and
entrepreneurship during the seventh annual Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC)
conference.
The conference will be held October 17-20 in Orlando, Florida. GHC is a program of the Anita Borg Institute for
Women and Technology (ABI) and is the largest gathering of women in computing in the United States. GHC is

Brosseau, a serial entrepreneur and expert in women’s leadership, will join other top experts on Saturday,
October 20 to share actionable skills and real world solutions for developing ideas, building networks, creating
social movements, delivering products and launching companies.
Workshop attendees will learn how to:
• Pick an idea and build an effective business around it
• Create networks and coalitions within their organization
• Leverage the creative resources within a business or non-profit
• Bring innovation or socially responsible change into a workplace
• Develop and validate special projects within a company
• Sell a business plan and get seed money

Brosseau started her first company at the age of 27 and has since co-founded three non-profits and two for
profit ventures. Denise was the co-founder and first CEO of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (now
FWE&E), a non-profit dedicated to educating and empowering women building high growth technology and life
science businesses. She also co-founded the Springboard Venture Forums, which have led to over $3.7B in
funding for women-led businesses.
